Was at a friends house where we all ordered Pizza. My Chicken BBQ arrived without any BBQ sauce on. I was going to leave it but the pizza tasted bland without it. Phoned up the branch and they first of all offered to just refund the account. Explained that I wanted the pizza delivered how it should have been. He then offered to send over some BBQ sauce to put on myself. Again explained that I wanted my pizza delivered and that my pizza would be cold by the time they sent over BBQ sauce. He then agreed to send a new pizza and to give back the wrong pizza to the delivery driver. 20 minutes later we get a phone call from a withheld number. I had placed an online order for my 2 kids and 2 nieces. There was an error on the app and the order was not acknowledged so I placed it again. When I checked the app the order had processed twice even though an email only confirmed one order. I telephoned the shop straightaway only to be told by a very rude manager that it had already been made (3 mins after placing I the order) and it was ready for delivery. I did not receive my pizza for nearly an hour later and the manager swore on the phone at me and was very aggressive and told me it was my problem and then hung up. Like I have read on other reviews there was a problem with the app on ordering and first one said that the basket stated empty. So reordered the same meal which went through and confirmed the meal. Pizza man delivered double the amount, when I queried why so much he said you ordered twice. I said no it was only once so he basically said oh well ring the shop! Rang straight away to be told by rude manager who completely spoke over me that they rang two numbers (funny how neither rang) and therefore said that they thought it was correct. I had ordered the pizza in half and half so said well that should have shown you it wasn't correct as why would I have ordered half and half same pizza twice...
Without doubt the wrist pizza ever. First off they said 35 minutes. After 45 I called back. They said it 's on its way. I live 5 minutes away. 10 minutes later still nothing. Finally arrived 10 minutes after that. The driver then almost threw the pizza at me. Then he held his hand out for a tip. Said there was no way they deserved a tip so he swore under his breath. I phoned the shop and told them but the person on the end of the phone just laughed and said I was lying because the pizza was a little page 35 minutes late. The pizza was woeful. We enjoy the non-vegan pizzas at this restaurant, but we have tried several of their vegan pizzas and were not impressed. We believe that the cheese is what makes them not as tasty. If they used a different vegan cheese, it would greatly improve the flavor. We will not be ordering any more vegan pizzas from Papa John's in the future. We do appreciate that they offer vegan options in their deals, unlike Dominos, which does not include vegan pizzas in their deals. Additionally, we do not recommend the Vegan Cheese Marmite Scrolls.
I recently ordered a double pepperoni pizza and felt compelled to leave a review. Unfortunately, the pizza was burnt on the bottom and lacking in quality. It was clear that no care was taken in preparing it, and I was disappointed in the lack of professionalism. I regret not reading reviews before ordering and feel that the restaurant should be ashamed for sending out such subpar food, especially considering the prices they charge. Even my dog refused to eat it!
Do not visit this restaurant under any circumstances. The customer service is terrible - they never answer the phone when you call to check on a late order, and when they did pick up, they hung up while I was speaking. The food arrived an hour later than promised, cold, and missing toppings. Absolutely shocking experience.
