Papas Fish And Chips

An excellent fish and chips restaurant in Sandgate Road, with a take away at the front and the restaurant along a corridor at the back. A good selection of fish available woth chips, mushy peas and sauces just as I like it. The restaurant area was clean, with friendly and efficient service.

An impromptu visit to the beach ended with my dog dragging me to the chip shop. I just ordered the mini cod and chips as it was lunchtime and it was lovely. The fish was fresh from the fryer and it was perfect portion. Yes, my dog got a few chips too!

Really enjoyed the food and choices available! One of the servers is a little bit grumpy at times and could do with a smile here and there, I can't say much about the atmosphere as it was a take away could do with some chairs while you wait

Probably the best fish and chips I've ever had. Fantastic bit of nice, white, firm cod in crispy batter with fresh chippy chips Very pleasant staff, good service.

Really tasty fish, i tried the haddock, it was good, crispy batter as well, had a small chips and a 2 cups of tea, would definitely eat here again.

I had the skate which was interesting. It was a little drier than cod and a lot of cartilage running through it.
