Paradai Thai ashburton

A farewell dinner for a friend was my first visit to this restaurant (total party was 8 people). For simplicity we ordered a "banquet", and even though there were only 24 diners (incl. our party) they still took the best part of 2 hours to serve the meal. The two waitress' on duty didn't bother to clear the table of empty dishes, even when trying to find room for the next course. In fact they seemed less interested in attending to tables than they did walking around with their heads down.To top it off one waitress knocked over a glass of (expensive) champagne and made only a half hearted attempt to clean the mess. A subtle suggestion that compensation for the $20 glass of champagne would be...

Have enjoyed great Thai food here, with the pad Thai and gang massamam a standout, but they now have a sushi bar. The sushi chef we discovered has a great background working at Coco at Crown and also Kanpai in South Yarra, both good restaurants. The Thai food was as good as usual, but the sushi was a standout and worth going there just for the sushi. This is the best of both worlds.

A local suburban restaurant serving tasty, fresh Thai foods that didn't disappoint. Staff were efficient and friendly despite being a busy Saturday night. Can be noisy, so if it's a quiet dinner for two you're after look elsewhere. Great for family groups. BYO option too.

We hadn't been here for a while but were not disappointed. The service was friendly, the food as reliable as usual and the bill reasonable. BYO is always an advantage for us. My only complaint was that our friends enjoyed my Pad Thai too much. Réservez une table maintenant

This is our favorite Thai restaurant. The food is excellent, staff friendly and attentive. The meals are a good size and it is well.priced. The decor is not overdone but traditional Thai pictures on the walls.

Absolutely love this place! I always go here for a good feed as it never disappoints me. The food is consistent and the service is great. The Thai Green curry and cashew beef is a must!! Highly recommended.

Just a quick night out to celebrate exams ending. Choice made on convenience to home. Dined here years ago so knew what to expect. Good middle of the range dining in all aspects and met our expectations.

Great Thai food! It was fresh and delicious. Curry puffs were on the oily side, but everything else was great!

I found metal pieces while I was chewing my food. I have been ordering from here for years. Never again.
