Paraplü - Réservation de table

We visited this pub on the 14th. September 2019, it was our last night in detmold, before home on Sunday afternoon. The lady in Paraplu was very nice, spoke to us and made us very welcome! If I had known it was there before I had been there every night to drink the beautiful German beer. Was very busy and the food looked delicious even though we could not eat there, but next time we will. Enjoy our visit!

Eine gemütliche Kneipe, mitten in der Stadt in einer Seitenstraße. Hier kann man besonders im Sommer draußen in einem echten Biergarten sitzen und ein Sonnenbier trinken. Es gibt wechselnde warme Speisen, die alle lecker sind. Schön ist es, dass man in der Kneipe rauchen kann. Eine Renovierung wäre vielleicht mal ganz nett, aber der Charakter der Kneipe darf nicht verloren gehen.

Das Paraplü ist ein Kultladen in Detmold. Hier mischt sich Jung mit Alt an der ehemaligen Stadtmauer gelegen am Wall. Kleinigkeiten zum Essen und frisch gezapftes Bier mit einem urigen Service wie in einer Dorfkneipe. Old-fashioned, aber auch musikalisch ein gutes Programm in diesem Laden!

Was last in Paraplu 25 years ago and the place didn't change in the least... had a quick bite to eat and a few beers. The meal was OK for bar food, not the kind of place you absolutely have your girlfriend or wife...for a romantic meal for two, yet it was very delicious. Réservez une table maintenant

Getränke kamen schnell. Essen kam nach 90 Minuten immer noch nicht. Mehrere Gäste sind enttäuscht gegangen ohne je gegessen zu haben. Und nein, es war nicht voll. Wir wollten die Getränke zahlen, das hat noch mal 30 Minuten gedauert. unfassbar

Total unfreundlicher und emotionsloser Service. Von aufmerksamer Bedienung keine Spur, man wartet nach dreimaliger Aufforderung trotzdem noch über 30 Minuten auf sein Getränk, obwohl der Laden nicht besonders voll war.

Delicious food. Normal prices. The staff is on Zack and the food came fast. Very good to sit outside. I recommend it.
