RESPONSE TO OWNER: We went riding with four adults, on 3 duo quads and 1 solo quad. The owner is lying about it all. We haven 't been asked. There was no nervousness at all and the material was really broken. I was the person who had a broken quad bike and I 'm already 38 years old! My father was not present on this trip and only adults rode the quads. It remains the case that for you, forewarned counts for two! Title: Dangerous and disappointing quad bike experience On July 25, 2023, we decided to go quad biking with a group of 4 adults and 3 children. What should have been an exciting adventure turned into a terrifying experience that left us stunned at the competence and safety measures of this quad bike rental company. After a short introduction we started our drive through the terrain around the base camp and over the dry mountains. However, while crossing a public road, the quad suddenly broke down, and a replacement quad had to be obtained. It started off very disappointingly. At the start of the ride, the guide had already reported that quads number 9 and 10 could not be ridden. Ironically, the replacement quad turned out to be one of these banned units. This quad turned out to be dangerous; he accelerated himself when going downhill and the brakes finally failed during the last 3 kilometers of the ride. Along the way, my wife and child, who were riding a duo quad bike, became upside down on the trail. These kinds of incidents can happen, but the guide only responded to our honking to turn around after 7 minutes. My wife and child were injured and were eventually transported in a passenger car further along the route to receive medical attention. Upon returning to base camp I spoke to the owner. Despite speaking fluent English at the time of booking, the owner was now suddenly only able to communicate in French, which made resolving the situation difficult. As a paltry compensation, we were offered an UNCOVERED check of € 30.00 as compensation. This amount is a complete insult, especially considering what we paid for this so-called expedition. I would strongly advise future visitors to be very careful when booking an activity with this company. The route is far from suitable for beginners and the material provided is downright inadequate. The quads have worn tires and safety is undoubtedly compromised. This experience has left us deeply disappointed and outraged by the indifference towards customer safety and satisfaction. I highly recommend putting your safety first and thinking carefully before doing business with this company. The promised excitement absolutely does not outweigh the risks and disappointments that may await you.
When we arrived on site, we were very well received by the whole team (including the dog). The place is superb, very calm and very natural. There is even a tavern where you can eat and drink (and believe me it's worth the detour). Regarding the quad activity, we were supervised by Thibaut who, accompanied by a helper, really guided us and showed us the region. His kindness and professionalism (especially with my son who has reduced mobility in his left arm) really warmed our hearts. Do you want to do a quad activity in the Millau region? There is no need to hesitate, go to the Bouscaillous Leisure Park.
