"Sadly the last few visits to The Park Bistro have been quite poor. Our order has been wrong late coming to the table. When speaking to the staff member about the poor service we were simply handed the bill. Such a shame as we've always really enjoyed breakfast here the service previously has always been spot on."

been here lots of times and reviewed before . I am sorry to say it was not quite the amazing quality it has been . Firstly the fish was very small and no peas with it . and we didnt notice till too late . My chicken burger was not as it used to be . cheap tomato inside and one wee lettuce piece melted cheese but no tasty dressing and to be honest nothing special for the price . the fries were nice etc but for these prices I expect better . Small point in they now have cushions on the chairs but they are not tied on so i nearly landed on floor . I really hope they can read this and lift it up again . Small point also other table asked for water when the jug came it had no ice or maybe lemon j...

The venue had a nice appearance and was clean, however, the staff did not seem very happy or welcoming. The food was hot and decent, but the Mexican chicken burger was lacking in flavor and the coleslaw was watery. The chips were tasty though. My partner ordered fish and chips, but it was just a small portion of fish that had been cut in half. The restaurant was also quite hot inside, leaving us feeling overheated. On the positive side, we enjoyed a walk along the canal and there was ample parking and outdoor seating available. Overall, it was better than the cafes on Linlithgow High Street.

The staff at the restaurant were very friendly and accommodating, so despite the busy atmosphere, we didn't mind sitting outside in the sun. Unfortunately, they had run out of hummus for the salad, so we settled for the vegan superfood salad and a Madeira sandwich instead. Our food arrived quickly in takeaway boxes, and while it was tasty, we found the portion sizes to be quite small. This, coupled with the high prices, left us feeling like we had overpaid for a very modest lunch. In the end, we spent £27, including drinks, for what felt like a meager amount of food.

Went on the recommendation of my daughter who also came today along with 2 others. Venue lovely and staff friendly and attentive. Food was average and pricey for portion sizes. My daughter ordered large nachos and it was a small portion compared to other eateries. My burger was nice but not worth the money. Chicken caesar salad was nice but very pricey again for portion size. Would not return given choice of restaurants nearby. Réservez une table maintenant

We have been loyal customers of Park Bistro since the lockdown was lifted. The coffee, food, and service have always been consistently good... until recently. During our last two visits, there were delays in receiving our food and items were missing. Additionally, the original order arrived cold. Perhaps there are new staff members in training, but this has now happened twice in the past two months.

We tied up our canal narrow boat at the mooring and made it close to last orders. A wide ranging menu, good portions, fair prices and quick service. It is set in a delightful location next to the Union Canal. The bistro is spacious and an interesting design and decor. It has a fascinating and very large 'map ' painting of the general area. Friendly staff. Enjoyed the local 'Narrow Boat ' IPA.

Took a grand niece who was visiting from Australia for Sunday breakfast . She works in hospitality so I thought an ideal place to show her a Scottish breakfast. The service was very attentive but sadly the food and the coffee left a lot to be desired I certainly won’t be taking any more visitors or visiting myself again. Shame as set in an ideal place to show off local scenery.

Decided to give the park bistro another try. We had the steak pie which I thought would have been served with potatoes not chips. Sea bass which was nice and plentiful. My husband had the Caesar salad which was served flat on a plate with thick rivers of of cream running over it. Very unusual. Chips were nice. Coffee was good. Service was excellent. I went here for lunch with my Mum today. We sat outside and ordered from the takeaway menu. Food tasted great but was overpriced for what it was. Food was given to us in cardboard containers but there were no recycling facilities available so everything was thrown in the rubbish bin. This felt incredibly wasteful.
