I will give 5 stars for food to this restaurant but the service esp the front desk is awful so 2 stars for that. We waited and waited and waited to get seated and literally had to argue to sit. They keep sending people who came after us because we have 6 people in the group two were kids. On checking in we were asked to wait for 20 minutes after waiting for 40 minutes when we get in to check in the lady said we don't know when you will be seated. I checked the list there were 10 people who came behind us have been checked in. When asked why we are not being seated she said because you have more people , if this was the case you should have told us before, we would have not waited for that lo...
I visited Park Place Cafe over the weekend and stopped by around 12:30 PM on Sunday. The place was quite busy, but I was seated quickly, which I assume is easier for a solo diner. The service was excellent, and the staff was very friendly. I ordered the filet steak and egg breakfast along with a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. The steak was cooked to perfection and incredibly tender—I'd rate it 9/10. The pancakes were light and delicious, and the orange juice was outstanding—refreshing and tasted just like drinking straight from an orange, earning a perfect 10/10. Highly recommended! I would definitely return if I find myself in the area again.
A few weeks ago, we visited this restaurant at about 10 o'clock on a Thursday morning when it was not busy. We looked forward to going to this restaurant because it is extremely busy and popular on weekends and seems to have very good reviews. But in spite of this I can only give them a three-star review because the food wasn't hot. The butter did not melt on the pancakes and the veggie part of the skillet was barely warm. I will admit that I'm not a complainer, but I should have told the wait person to take it back and heat it some more. Service was very good, and I appreciate the coffee carafe left on the table.
No matter how busy or short staff this restaurant is, seating is nearly immediately, when booked , less than 10 minutes wait.. the food has always come to us mostly in 5 minutes, occasionally 10 minutes.. very fast and professional service, always.. farm based food, excellent always.. the owners are always here, very professional and kind to customers, always.. the best, friendlest and most professional breakfast restaurant I have been to.. when mom was sick , the owners even sent home soup for her, they are the best and most friendly people.. must try Réservez une table maintenant
This restaurant is family-owned and it truly reflects in the experience! One of the owners warmly welcomed us and seated us, and throughout our visit, we noticed them actively engaged in the restaurant. The service from the waitstaff was excellent as well! It definitely feels like a classic diner, with solid breakfast options for everyone. Our food arrived promptly and was genuinely delicious. In the photo, you can see the meat lover's skillet and the stuffed French toast.
