I would describe this place as a sort of hometown cafe. There's nothing fancy about the place, but I felt welcomed and was treated very well. Our lunch consisted of a burger for me and a buffalo chicken wrap for my partner. Both were tasty and well made. Our sides were onion rings and fries, both of which were freshly made and served hot. The staff were engaging and kind of funny, which added to our enjoyment during our visit. Highly recommended.
Seems like it was less chaotic than when we went there last. New owners/management? Food was tasty and plentiful. Served quickly by a very sweet young lady with whom we had a brief conversation about her love of hot sauce and how people were taking the restaurant bottles home! Felt so sick after visiting the bathroom before we ate. Got my coffee and the spoon I used to store it still had old food on it. Health inspector? Definitely inexpensive food. If you’re not a regular it might feel uncomfortable walking in. I’ve never been here in the 12 years I’ve lived here and I fully understand why I never hear folks talk about it. The breakfast bowl is an enormous portion. Get it if you are hungry and want a bit of everything. Very nice atmosphere. The largest selection of hot sauces available of any place I've every been. Reasonable diner like atmosphere. You order at the counter pay upfront, take a seat and the food is brought to you. It's odd to decide a tip before you receive the food.
