Parmigiano Erlangen

Enjoyed a nice dinner here on our first night in Bavaria this trip. The owner convinced me to try the house speciality, Spaghetti Parmigiano, made using a large wheel of hard parmesan cheese ("Grana Padano") where the cheese is scraped from the inside of the wheel and mixed with freshly cooked pasta, then topped with creamy mushroom sauce.Delicious !My daughter wanted something with meat, so she had the Spaghetti Bolognese and it was also very tasty.The starter of bruschetta with parma ham was also wonderful, my daughter remarked that it was the best parma she had ever tasted.Dinner for 2, with 1 starter + 2 pasta + 2 glasses of Sangiovese wine was around 50 Euros. this restaurant always offers a good experience for her money as well as for her guests. it has a small crew, but they work hard to make them happy! eating is excellent! the menu changes regularly, but they can always find their homemade pasta. that they are stuffed in a huge Parmigiano cheese and eat with a delicious soak to embellish it and whatever they find in the delicate market of fish, seafood or delicious meat. the house of one are very good and efficient. the restaurant is very popular, so make sure that a Tsble reservation. I'm coming back to this place!

the second time I visited here, and I fall in love with this restaurant. after dinner when I went out of the restaurant, I was really happy. how happy I was. so far I have 2 pastas, steak and a tiramisu. To be honest, in Germany you can't find...a that could be compared with a restaurant in italy. very fresh ingredients, fresh cheese and deep boiled sauce. highly recommended!

Regardless of nationalities, whoever visited this restaurant loves the foods and give two thumbs up. Erlangen is a small town, but has a big international community since several global companies HQ are located near by. Therefore, it’s hard to please everyone, but I have never...met anyone who did not like this restaurant. Réservez une table maintenant

2 of us visited for dinner. Absolutely fantastic meal. Not the cheapest but definitely the best!! Lovely squid-ink pasta. Really good. Highly recommend it. cost about 80euros for us both, but we also had a very nice bottle of wine.

The title says it all; simply perfect. Prices are very reasonable also, 7-15 euros for main courses that are large and tasty. Nothing bad to say, certainly much better than the expensive restaurant we visited the previous evening!

Can it be that one of the best Italian restaurant outside of Rome is in Germany? This place is terrific- great atmosphere, and even better food. Make sure to get reservations, and call early, because it fills up quickly.

warm atmosphere, friendly staff, motivated owner. very busy (mostly a good sign.) I had a good pizza for a fair price.
