Parquet - Réservation de table

Perhaps it was just an off night. We ordered an appetizer that arrived without any utensils, napkins, or plates. I had to flag down a waiter to get those items. The steak frites were undercooked. I also ordered fries with my halibut, and there was a noticeable difference; they didn’t seem to be double-fried, if that’s their usual practice. Ordering drinks took a long time—my main course was served before my glass of wine arrived, which I was told was still in queue. It might help to have an extra person at the bar or to expedite drinks. Dessert was decent, particularly the rhubarb gele, but I was surprised there was no lemon tart available. I went for an early dinner with my child and had a wonderful experience. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was inviting, and the patio was lovely. We enjoyed the Hamachi Crudo, Tartare, and duck confit, but the burger and milk bread truly stole the show for us (and I'm usually not a big burger fan). Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: CA$30–40 Recommended dish: Steak Tartare.
