This restaurant is very much in the middle of nowhere but not far from the main Burgos-Madrid road. Our daughter chose it as it was close to her wedding venue of Gargantilla de Lozoya. Absolutely no expats about and the large restaurant was booked solid on this Saturday afternoon with the adjoining bar also packed. The food was good particularly the shoulder of lamb. The wine list was particularly good value with Baron de Ley reserva at 13 euros and gran reserva at 22 euros. Whites and roses were excellent value also. Service was very efficient and pleasant and our party had a great afternoon.
Celebramos el cumpleaños del abuelo por recomendación de mi hermano, que ya habían estado. El sitio es encantador, con una decoración y un ambiente muy bonitos. Los camareros amables y atentos, nos llevamos una tarta hecha por mi hija y nos trajeron todo lo necesario para poder servirla y comerla. Y por último la comida, la verdad es que inmejorable. Hacia frio y me pedi la sopa de cocido, perfecta para entrar en calor y riquisima. Era temporada de boletus y tuvimos que repetir, exquisitos. Las carnes una pasada, el chuleton “Harpo” brutal.

Amazing staff, they recommend the wine and some dishes to enjoy our lunch. The restaurant is amazing for grilled food. We ordered prawns and octopus grilled and both dishes were delicious, as well we ate fillets of sardines with pistachios oil, highly recommend and burrata salad. The main course was a tomahawk and amazing piece of beef grilled with potatoes and green peppers. Some of us ordered a dessert and coffee. Réservez une table maintenant
Hacía mucho tiempo que no iva por este sitio. Me comentaron que habían cambiado de cocinero y decidí volver. Una carne espectacular hecha en una parrilla de lo mejor. Buen cuchifrito. Guisos de la Sierra de Madrid y Segovia Cantidad y buen servicio.
