Visited the restaurant for the first time tonight since it changed hands. We were greeted by a very friendly and professional barman who directed us to our table and took our drinks order.The menu was extensive and the food arrived hot and was of a...good quality. The staff are very friendly and the food is reasonably priced.My only suggestion is not to have 3 different menus the early bird/Sunday menu and a la carte . The strengths of the restaurant is the quality and price of the food not forgetting the attentive barman who ensured we were never short of a drink..will definitely be eating here again please pass on our thanks to the barman who made us relaxed and welcomed us first impressio...
I visited this restaurant with my husband and two teenagers. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, helping us choose from the menu as we wanted to try a few items. We didn't have the meze, but it was delicious. We tried the meatballs, lamb shoulders, and other dishes which were all amazing. We had some leftovers, so they kindly gave us a doggy bag. The meal wasn't expensive, around £15, but there was a lot of food. The service was great, with staff intermittently checking on us throughout our meal. I would definitely go back to this restaurant.
My family have visited here many times previously and had a very enjoyable meal. However, last night when we visited it seems the restaurant has changed hands and menu. Menu is very basic, mainly italian, the drinks menu is laughable, basically red or white wine...or beer! The food took a very long time to arrive and when it did was awful, pasta was swimming in oil and pizza was hard with about a tea spoon of tuna fish. Service was extremely slow will not be returning again
Had a truly wonderful meal here last night. It's no longer a Greek so expect to be disappointed if you wanted a Greek!! Now if you want a mainly Italian based menu then this is the place for you it's now called Mediterraneo (I think)....Fabulous service and freshly cooked. Read a review that someone complained they had a wait I would be very worried if the food came out quickly! Réservez une table maintenant
The restaurant serves a small selection of Greek dishes, but mainly offers Italian cuisine. The meal was excellent, especially the lamb which was falling off the bone. The dessert portions were a bit tiny and the cheesecake seemed a little dry, but still enjoyable. The service was excellent.
This is now called Mediterraneo and is Italian. The staff were great and friendly and the food was very nice. It has only been open 12 weeks so needs to build up the reputation. Great value for money, especially the early bird. I will be...going back again. Well worth a visit give it a try.
