Pasta Villa is solid home style Italian, serving all the standards and busy every night with locals 'in the know '. We used to go to PV quite often, but it was always hard to get in, being that the bar AND dining room are both popular. So after a while we switched to getting take out the generous portions would allow us several meals. Our most recent experience was getting take out for a party a full tray of lasagna. Almost two years ago, I came for dinner to celebrate finding the perfect house in the neighborhood. I finally sold my old house, and to celebrate, naturally, we had to go to Guido's Pasta Villa! It was very busy, even at 5:30 on a Wednesday, but we were seated promptly, despite not having a reservation. Their phone message states that they take reservations for parties of 5 or more (we had 3). We started with the amazing calamari scampi...the best calamari in Rochester! This is the best Italian Restaurant I know of in the Rochester area. I have been there numerous times of the years and have never had a bad meal. I have had spaghetti with meat sauce and with marinara, pork chops and steak, chicken Parmesan and chicken French. I have never been disappointed with the servers or the meals. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Classic From the cocktails to the menu it was a hit I had the Negroni which was perfect Ordered the wine by carafe and it was a very Nice red Chicken French and the bolognese were both awesome dishes, way too big for us to split especially if you want to try the spumoni ice cream which I did ....

Rochester is known for large Italian places, but I must say that this place is by far my favorite. The homemade pasta, Chix Tiffany, Alfredo Sauce, everything!!! Always a pleasant time. If you live on the East Side, you have to take a small ride to Irondequiot. This place is definitely worth it.

Guidos is the hidden gem you search for in every town. Luckily a friend gave us the tip to visit during the PGA championship. Our party all loved the atmosphere, the team and most importantly the food. All dishes were prepared perfectly and I especially loved the red sauce on my veal Parm

I don't know how else to explain it except that this place feels like familia and home. Every single time. From the gorgeous cocktail staff to the incredible pasta. Good luck getting in because this place is heavenly.

Great food. Expect a wait. Even for take out. But there is a tv near the bar so you can stay occupied. Very small but incredible food. Will go again.

The food is top notch! Especially their pasta dishes. However the restaurant needs expanding. Too many tables in a small space.
