Specialty of this pretty shop was a deeply tangerine-colored, lightly citrus flavored, syrup-soaked (like classic non-American sponge) cake. Those tiny confections also orange-colored? The lady at the shop showed us a worn little card with a picture of a sunny-side up egg, and the word 'yolk. ' It seemed exactly that, a tiny custard-like sweet of little more than yolk and sugar. The creme chantilly-filled pastry was fresh, the donut (fried pastry) filled with pastry cream a little tough, maybe a bit old. Chocolate and custard desserts good, if a tad overly sweet.
It had been my first afternoon in san Sebastian and I really was craving something sweet I just happened upon this place. The lady serving was so cute and tried to explain the treats. I went for a traditional basque dessert which was only ok. I'm gutted as I should have gone back to try some of the cream desserts as they looked better.
El mejor milhojas del mundo! Lástima no dispongan de versión sin gluten, podrían por favor hacer un esfuerzo y hacerlo por encargo para los celíacos que nos hemos quedado sin poder tomar ese manjar!!
Tienen una muy buena pasteleria. Hay dos tiendas en Irun y una en Donosti. La cafeteria está muy bien. Las empleadas un poco serias, parecen siempre desbordadas de trabajo.Sienpre hay mucha gente!!!

Que msravuilla es desayunar, hoy dia de san Marcos, conbla fabulosa opilla de almendra de Aguirre. Tengo que daros la enhorabuena, este año una vez más esta riquísima.

Desayuno típico de pan con tomate y café en una cafetería tradicional de Irun. Pero lo que sí se debe probar es el brioche, un 10.
Pastelería tradicional, con un gran surtido de pastas y tartas. El género es muy buenísimo. ¡Repetiremos!
