I recently tried a few chocolate cakes from this place. I ordered one for a 60th birthday celebration and one for myself. While I wish there had been a thicker layer of chocolate ganache, it was still delicious. The cake quality was excellent, with tasty mousses and rich ganache—just my style. If I were to have a wedding reception with cake, I would definitely choose one from here; they create beautiful, elegant cakes. I hope they get their website up and running soon so you can see all the options, but for now, you can always call to place an order.
What an absolute jewel of this shop is. We had made our pastries wedding cake from Nancy Oh boy, it wasn't disappointed. When we had to go, try cakes from different vendors, everything we could talk was the cakes from this store. The owner was also very helpful about the cakes know what could not work. I remember being most excited to have cakes at the wedding more than the other parts of the wedding! We love their cake so much we will come back every year for a slice on our anniversary.
I got a cake from Nancy's for my mom's birthday. It was chocolate cake with chocolate ganache and filling. It was delicious. It was huge too, but worth it. My mom enjoyed it. I asked that they put on a design of circles, inspired by Wasily Kandinsky. Eh, it didn't turn out so well, but that's ok. The hand lettered piping wasn't the best either, but it was legible. Still, it was delicious, and I'd like to celebrate other occasions with a cake from Nancy's.
Came for our wedding cake here. We have planned a cake tasting appointment, the options were delicious and the presentation of the tasting was very cute and romantic. The owner went personally about the design options and explained everything in detail even recommendations. I am very pleased with the result (flowers and band not included). If you want quality and simplicity with a personal and professional touch, I recommend this bakery.

They were on the preferred vendors list for a wedding cake for Altadena town and country club. We went to do a cake testing and the Bavarian creme and white cake was so delicious! The owner was very nice and accommodating. He made sure the cake was design to what I wanted and was flexible to delivered to the cake to venue with a short notice on time change. Thank you!

Nancy’s came highly recommended for my aunt’s 73rd birthday party! Aesthetically beautiful and every bite was absolutely delicious! All of her guests were impressed by beauty and taste! Forever the go-to bakery from now on! I ordered and designed the cake over the phone. These are gifted artists and bakers.
