I was very disappointed with my experience. We were looking forward to having dinner from this restaurant. I stopped by in the morning to pick up a menu, and the staff member assured me that I could place a takeout order as long as I called before 1:00 PM. However, when I called at noon, I was informed that she couldn't take my order because she was overwhelmed with requests. I understand that things can get busy, but I had already planned for this to be our dinner and had followed the instructions given to me earlier. It was quite frustrating and not an ideal way to operate a business.
I was really looking forward to trying these pâté meat pies. As someone who makes them myself, I was building up my excitement for no reason. Unfortunately, they were very bland in flavor. Even with a little salt, they still lacked taste; I could taste the pepper, but overall, there was no flavor. However, the folding and dough were well-executed. Overall, they could definitely be improved.
Great pasties! I've been here three times now, and the food has always been hot and delicious—definitely a 5-star experience. However, the service has only been adequate. During my first visit, the older gentleman who served me was not very pleasant and seemed bothered by having to attend to my order.
Fix your hours. Always says open but never is. I went in 2 hours before they were supposed to close; still closed. Use to be a staple for me an my family to visit, don’t think I’ll even try to go there again, it will just be a waste of my time.

The owner serves pasties. That's just about it. Pasties with gravy. And I heard and yes, it's kind of true he's not the happiest guy around.
The pasty shop really needs to learn how to answer their phone unless they want to loose a lot of buisness
Nice people, pastys might of been made much earlier in the day, a bit dry and hard.
Authentic Michigan Upper Peninsula pasties. Taste great.
