The moment we started talking English we were lower class customers at once, host barely explained dishes and did not even bother to ask us what choice of food we prefer with breakfast. In addition place looked like it was dusted some month ago. Food was decent, moderately priced, however if you speak English you may have better experience in more cosmopolitan place.
I had to sample poutine on my visit to Montreal, and I was not disappointed in the yummy poutine here. The fries were the perfect balance of crisp and soft, the gravy and other toppings were tasty, and the service was laid back, but friendly. Also, the food was inexpensive. This establishment is a must for a visit to Montreal.
Great poutine, great burgers. Their secret definitely lies in their French fries, which are fried to perfection. A must on the Plateau, especially when returning from the Sunday tam-tams (a few blocks away). Also great for take-out on the way to the Mountain.

We traveled pretty far to find this place and it was definitely worth it! The gravy is vegetarian. There isn't much seating so we'd recommend going at a not-so-busy time. Staff was very friendly :)
