The tables are looking nice, it´s clean and inviting staff. We wanted to try some different tapas and they have a lot to choose from. They served a small ox-tail appetizer in gravy, and it was OK. There were a lot of fat in my ox-tail and I really do not like beef fat at all. We had 2 pintxo (the small pieces of baguette) with chorizo and quails egg and with egg and schrimp. We have been dining at some lovely german restaurants for the last few days and thought, given we love Spain, let’s try a Spainish restaurant. Especially one that has such great reviews. Well nothing could be further from the truth. Our waiter apologised so often for the slow food service that we felt compelled to tip himout of pity. The paella we ordered was almost 2 hours in the preparation, was bland, used plain stale ingredients, we were appalled with the quality. We also had tapas, over priced and quality was also appalling. Management seemed ignorant nd didn’t care. The restaurant wasn’t busy, about one third full but given what we paid for slow service and poor poor quality, I cannot...
We ordered Shkmeruli (32 and Megruli Kharcho (37 . The food was spicy and very tasty. The khinkali cannot be seen in the photo, but they were extremely tasty and definitely worth the experience. However, it should be noted on the menu that most of the dishes do not come with a side dish (mashed potatoes, rice, etc. . This means that the visit to Gemrieli was significantly more expensive than initially expected. What should be highlighted is the great atmosphere in the restaurant and the very cozy atmosphere.
