I highly recommend this café as one of the best I have ever visited. I absolutely love all the food, it was fantastic, and the parking lot is quite spacious. For breakfast and lunch, you can easily walk in, but for dinner reservations are recommended, especially after 5pm. Despite a long line, service was efficient with two cashiers taking orders and a server assisting at the breads area. The staff was friendly and even took the time to explain some of the drinks to me as a first-time visitor. I really expected more... The service had a few opportunities, our server was not completely happy in his role and it was showing. The sea bass was good but nothing outstanding. The cornish hen was juicy and delish. The server was not interested inmaking it a good experience. He sent us to the counter a couple of times as he said they were running out of desserts, in theend we had to order from what we have a lot so you are guaranteed to get it . It seemed he was not very familiar with the menu.The sea bass was ok but paired with the ratatouille was not a complimentary taste. It is just your typical neighborhoodrestaurant
I enjoy surprising my grandchildren with the delicious small cakes from Patrick's. I initially started coming here for the quiche, but now I can't decide between that and the hot roast beef sandwich - they're both so good! It's a great way to treat myself and my family on special occasions. The service is excellent for takeout dinners, with a price range of $10-20 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect score of 5. I highly recommend trying the Fruit Tart, Spinach Quiche, and any pastry from their display case.
The restaurant was pretty great around 2009. However, I have learned through personal relationships with the staff that many of them dislike the owner, Patrick. It used to have a lot of soul and heart, but now it seems to lack even that. Some of the pastries don't live up to the authenticity they used to have. The staff is rude and displays low-class behavior, so I no longer recommend it. The restaurant used to be very elegant, but now it has more of an American diner feel. I absolutely adore this cafe/restaurant. The cappuccino is amazing! Whether it's sandwiches, quiche, salad, or their delicious little dessert cakes, everything is fantastic. The customer service is excellent. It tends to get busy, but for good reason - the food is delicious, the location is great, and there's plenty of parking.
I had a couple of minor issues with the staff at the register, but the food at this restaurant is quite good! I dined in for breakfast and the price per person ranged from $20 to $30. I would rate the food a 4 out of 5, the service a 3 out of 5, and the atmosphere a 4 out of 5.
