Set menu with choice of two starters fish or steak for mains and one dessert, however, both choices were excellent. My husband had fish of the day and I had steak. Despite only one dessert on offer it was excellent. Have been to Conti's in the past over the years and the food and service is always to a high standard. We had my husbands 60th Birthday there in a private room for around 12 people some years ago. Wine is very good too. Despite Valentines Day being on a Tuesday there were plenty of diners celebrating the day. The winery was established quite some years ago now and the restaurant was once the family home. Have been here quite a few times and normally pretty good, however we took some special friends here last night and it was very poor..Had to ask every time we wanted a drink ! The food was very bland and average to say the best, we had to send the potatoes back as they were still frozen inside yet the plate was very hot !! The steak was very chewie and had no flavour at all.Very disappointed with the whole experience last night and our friends were so upset as we had told them how good this place was.
Dined here several times over a couple of years. Great for a special occasion in a group or as a couple. Most recent a dinner for two special. Two courses with a glass of wine for less than $80 so great value. The meals are always great quality, love the french onion soup and the duck main. Lovely old homely setting with a classy feel. The staff are always welcoming and attentive. Will be back.
Both a vineyard and a restaurant, Conti's is well established as one of the best in Perth. We are lucky in that our son lives just around the corner so can practically walk there. The food is the best Italian in the area and with the personal service from staff we always enjoy the experience. The menu caters for everyone and food is enhanced by drinking the home wine. we had the restaurant to ourselves, so the service was excellent.the highlight was the carpet steak, wrapped in bacon topped with mushrooms and gravy with Rock oyster inside and prawns on top, absolutely delicious.the ladies had fish and this was of top quality also. the cheese board probably let the overall meal down.
This is a lovely old house it has fabulous atmosphere, food menu is very limited but food was lovely. Wait staff are very polite they do need to communicate with each other. We had three staff members ask the same question several times. Food portions are a good size, overall we had a nice night.
