Server announced to all of us just getting seated outside that she was the only server all randomly loud and everyone got all quiet. She was maybe training someone too? It was maybe 6 seated tables outside, a lot of room for more and still the server was like, THERE 'S ONLY ONE OF ME! Ok, but you 're yelling why? No one 's mad or being rude to you. You annoyed you got to serve outside patrons?! Chill. Hopefully her minion got a clue. ?? I had the mini double cheeseburger with seasoned fries! Was great! Also, they had $3 Modelo Tallboys, which is a really great deal! Our server checked on us to make sure we were good multiple times, and we ended up running into my husband's old high school teacher and their group that was there prior to us arriving. We moved over to their table and had a great visit. There was a band playing behind them last night that sounded good. It was a great evening out!
Paul and Jacks Tavern was a great place to sit down and eat. Our waitress, Dawn, was very personable and quick with service. She made it an enjoyable visit and gave great service to a party of 20. Dawn needs a raise! Although the catfish isn’t advised, the seafood pasta surely is: everyone else enjoyed their wraps. Plus, can never go wrong with a cheese quesadilla and sweet potato fries are highly recommended.
