"we ate here for my mother's birthday on 23rd. my brother is super fussy and I am a zöliakie. my brother ate all his crumbling calamari and I loved my grilled seafood. our waitress was so beautiful and was super friendly and accommodating about what I could and could not. we are already planning our next trip back."

Absolutely abysmal! Quick Gordon Ramsay .... Help these guys out before they sink this ship. $95 for a platter for two and sparkling water. I haven't felt that dissatisfied by what was served in a long time. One slice of lemon each. Had to ask for tartare. Waitress grumpy and down right foul to deal with. She asked us if we would like the platter put on a frame. Just put it on a frame for $95! Decor tired and old. Restaurant cold. Seafood over cooked. Prawns and calamari tasted like PFD rubbish. Laminated menus. Food presented at the table was a plate of salad and chips with the other rubbish on another centre plate. Salads and breads were prepared in an area in front of us clearly not up......

when we arrived, we sat up when we arrived at the top, we were not greeted to be shown on our table; after waiting, my sis had to go to the other end of the room to get someone's attention. the ambiente was not so good, but that was perhaps on a table that made her children run amok. the service from the waiter was good, but not so good from the waiters. we were offered fresh soft bread butter to begin. I had crab claws for escape they were very good: two plump, golden balls with a claw handle, served with sweet chili sauce to dive. However, they tended to fall apart and I ended eating them with cute. sis had kg pfeift x 2 filets, which she thoroughly...read more

tested and proven adelaide formula for a fish cafe. it is always fresh and well made seafood, but is really fish and chips in a sit down environment. always nice to know the seafood is all Australian with most of them taking out sa with a few like the scallops from qld. if these young would simply love to get their chips right, the funny kartoffel wedges are always a let off (never crispy) and also on a decent craft beer to whack. I remember a prancing pony back, but this time no such luck. for something that has many local products seems as if it were a good fit. also a decent homemade tartaric acid...read more

the first time in new possessions, also my last. forget about spencer golf fresh king prawns and think tasteless, frozen asian garnels. the prawn cocktail contained four small garnels, obviously not fresh and were left after sampling a garnish. the crumbs have not removed better. I approached the chef who told me the prawns were sa prawns, but didn't give a comment when I hit, he said he was South Asia. new owners, take them to know by choosing the substandard rates they have lost me as a customer, and I will not recommend their restaurant for family and friends. worst seafood meal ever.
