My friend and I had a long overdue catch up over the best Afternoon Tea in the area .. it is consistently good with my perfect mix of savoury and sandwiches with a scone cream etc and a piece of cake of your choice… and as much tea as you could possibly need … The service is always friendly and efficient.. well done team for another lovely treat .. We had a wonderful Christmas lunch this year, with the added bonus of the Primet Primary school choir singing carols. The atmosphere and service were excellent, with everyone smiling. We had a great time participating in the quiz, even though we ended up winning the booby prize! We always enjoy the food and service at this restaurant throughout the year.

Excellent food, friendly staff and fabulous views over the bowling green. Lovely home made cakes. Doesn't seat many inside but plenty of seats and tables outside. Probably useful as a cafe stop for cyclists as its on a NCN route and 10 minutes bike ride or 20 minutes walk off the canal through the park. Will be going back.

The food is good and well presented and good prices. However I do not wish to sit next to dog lovers who then proceeded to feed the animal of their plate. The dog was on the seat with the owners . I wondered if the next move was for it to lick the plate. Thankfully this didn’t happen. Réservez une table maintenant

Been four times for breakfast with the Mr and we 've always had a wonderful time. Lovely, kind staff. Brilliant food and the vintage teacups and overall style of the cafe is a bonus. Favourite place to get a full English 'Belly Buster '.

Myself, my daughter (2) and my mum visited for brunch today for the first time. Has to be one of the best, hottest tastiest breakfasts we’ve ever hand. Will definitely be back again

Went with husband for Christmas afternoon tea. Food was fabulous and staff were lovely and friendly . Can highly recommend this lovely little gem of a cafe. Will definitely be back

Just had a great 3 course Christmas Dinner, the best one I've had this year (I have tried a few different places), food was brilliant a.d staff were lovely. Would highly recommend Réservez une table maintenant

I went for afternoon tea as a Christmas treat, and it was all homemade and delicious. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, I would definitely recommend it.
