After a day exploring Kettering I needed to get some refreshment so I went to the Peacock pub which is in Kettering town centre. The lady behind the bar gave me a friendly welcome and i got my drink and settled down. It was fairly busy for a weekday afternoon and many of the people in the pub seemed to know the staff and each other and there was a very relaxed vibe. The tables were all clear and clean and the toilets were of a good standard too. They have free wifi too which is very handy. A nice place to visit for refreshment.
Went in with friends to watch Football and a few drinks. I had the most amazing, and very good value for money, all day breakfast. The staff interact with customers to make this a relaxing and friendly place and I was introduced to some of the regulars during my visit. A real community pub in the heart of the town.
This was a large gathering of six adults and two children, in spite of it being quite busy, Chris and his team delivered and very enjoyable meal tapas, Sausage and mash, James did a fine job in the Kitchen as always. My family were over from New Zealand and liked the food.All the staff go the extra mile.
A bit disappointed that the panini was not as described should be Tuna Cheese melt panini . I have attached photo to show how melted it was. Not the normal standard for The peacock tuna obviously cold too as only panini luke warm.

Came in today with my partner and our new born food was great and the service behind the bar was good also thank you to Gemma p and Dan for making our experience good and thank you to Chris the chef for our food
Went to The Peacock for a staff party last night. They provided a buffet for 20 of us, which was really good, and we had a great night. Big shout out to Dan Peacock (staff) for looking after us all. Cheers.
We were there after my Brothers funeral for a buffet and what a buffet, the food and the service were outstanding and everybody had a great time. Well done to the Chef and the staff it was brilliant
Had another great boys night out at the peacock great food staff.watched football and stayed for the karaoke great atmosphere also great prices

Great atmosphere great all round experience specifically great service from Gem. Definitely would recommend visiting while in Kettering.
Really lovely pub great food and atmosphere would definitely recommend it and will be returning staff friendly .
