Great bar, always busy with a good vibe. They have live music on most if not every night. The Gunness is good and it's great craic. This bar seems to be extremely popular with tourists and locals alike. The lice music is mostly Irish traditional and it can be overly packed with people, but that is part of its character. You will find the bar to be very friendly as are the local people of derry. The bar joins onto a second bar called the Grwwdore bar. This also has lots of live music, but doesn't seem to be as popular as players. I would recommend a visit to this bar if you are staying in derry. Its a must see! It also has some unusual decor and is very welcoming.

Great live music, great atmosphere, great staff, great drinks and great time. Derry really rocks on weekends. Very recommend to learn Pub when you visit Derry.

5 stars for the Irish music. The whiskeys they poured at Peadar O'Donnels were probably the smallest I've had in the UK, and I had plenty of whiskeys...

Amazing live music and great atmosphere. We did not eat here, just had a Smithwicks and a tiny little bottle of white wine. Really we didn't come for... Réservez une table maintenant

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, brilliant music! An all round great night to be had here and if there's a better bar in Ireland I haven't found it yet

Like many pubs in Ireland, they were not serving food at 6:00 pm. We left. We have found it discouraging to be unable to get food early in the evening.
