The first red flag was the bread coming out. It was very clearly supermarket bread and I was quite surprised to see such poor quality. Unfortunately, I ordered the Gnocchi Sorrentino. The sauce tasted like the cheapest canned tomato sauce and the actual gnocchi was flavorless and dull. I do not believe there was any seasoning in the sauce whatsoever. When the parmesan came out as well, it had no scent and no flavor. The gnocchi as a whole was the most disappointing meal I have had in a very long time. I've only been to this restaurant once, but the food was good and reasonably priced. We sat outside in the back under the large tents they have, and they made an effort to make it comfortable and visually appealing. The staff was very friendly, and it was nice that it is BYOB. I can't really speak to the inside of the restaurant since we only waited for a minute to be seated outside. There was some confusion with the staff, and we weren't greeted by a very pleasant host as described on the website, so they could use some improvement in that area. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant for the reasons mentioned.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! My bf and I went to a restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. The server was very friendly, but the food was awful that it tasted rotten. I ordered Filet Mignon steak. I asked for medium rare. I was shocked when they brought the steak. They brought literally raw meat!!!!So, I had to ask for medium rare again and it was still raw meat. IS THIS A MEDIUM RARE??!!They completely ruined our dinner!

Servers were nice and attentive. Food was good, mushroom ravioli flavorful, octopus was very good, and mussels were delicious. Finished our meal with the chocolate cake, which was also very good. They should improve their bread, it was hard and dry. I know it’s not a huge deal, but it sets the initial impression. The spreads and the olive oil served with the rolls were a nice addition, though.
Gotta say this mainstay in Ridgewood is getting better Momma greet you at the door with a couple of lovely young ladies who were very attentive. The swordfish was perfect as was the salmon. The shrimp was perfectly grilled with a yummy avocado, tomato and onion salad and the octopus was great too. Nice Alt Jazz playing and definitely worth the visit. Highly recommend! Enjoy!
I have been here many times. Most recently with a large group for a friend's birthday. The food and service were both EXCELLENT. The owner Max and his staff always do a fantastic job providing a fine dining experience. Look forward to my next time there. Highly recommend!!!
We ordered the strawberry zabaglione for dessert. Epic fail. Guy almost whisked his arms off and it didn’t come to right texture. Served it anyway. Ew.

A big and boisterous family made for a noisy dining experience. It wasn't the most pleasant, but it's probably not the norm.
Aside from the food being delivered too fast, the dinner was wonderful. We will definitely return. Absolutely delicious!
