I travel often and read a little history of this amazing and old restaurant. The only server Nathan was very busy he kept the whole restaurant updated on our orders made incredible suggestions and did all this was grace and a smile. I have never been to such a dated restaurant with an employee who was so eager to tell us about the way dishes were prepared which are good and which aren't. He made us amazing drinks took his time to explain and even show some of the owners artwork on the walls. An amazing women who we were upset she was out of town you can tell the honesty and integrity he has in her. As for the food, his suggestions and explanations we were spot on good food we are thrilled he...
Walked in and was disappointed from first step, staff was lost, there was an employee behind hostess stand talking to someone on phone and had no clue how to talk on phone, didnt know address to restaurant, didnt know any of food items, when we asked to be seated, he looked at me confused and said yeah, uh just find a table no one is sitting at and you can sit there we left. Went there a long time ago, I 'm assuming under different ownership and it was good, hopefully for them, this is not a normal Saturday night for them. Otherwise they wont be there long.
We come from the west side for this place….our favorite Asian restaurant. We went early tonight and it wasn’t too crowded yet but everything was so good. Recommend the general Tso or sesame chicken, Mongolian steak strips, or fried rice bowl. Our waiter (I didn’t get his name) was super attentive and kind- the restaurant was a little chilly and he was kind enough to notice and brought us over a heater. Keep doing your thing Pearl Kitchen!
We have been getting take out from Pearl’s for 30+ years and this is the first time we have been disappointed. We ordered Prawn Udon Soup expecting a flavorful broth and good sized shrimp/prawns. What we received was almost tasteless broth, with small shrimp, two which needed to be deveined, The vegetables were okay. Réservez une table maintenant
I have lived in many places and this was the worst Chinese food I have ever had, I’m sorry to say. Both my husband and I were very disappointed in our meals. We didn’t even save our leftovers, which says a lot. New to the area but will continue my search for good Chinese food elsewhere
I have been going here since 2009. The best Thai/Chinese in shaker heights hands down. Now that I have moved to Columbus this is the first place I go when I come to visit. Everyone I run into I tell to go here. Great food, customer service is great, and everyone is so friendly.
It was great. My Mom wanted shrimp bok choy was not on menu however she said it was plentiful with fresh plump shrimp. Was excellent. I ordered pepper steak was good very large portion. Sweet onions yummy. Customer service the best. Thank you for putting smile on Mom's face.
Me and wife order from here frequently and have never had a bad experience. The quality of the food is excellent. Portion sizes are huge and there are usually leftovers. The re-heatability is great as well. You will not be disappointed! Réservez une table maintenant
