I love Pearle’s, and I very much enjoy the system that they use by calling your number when your food is ready. I think that the food here is wonderful although the prices are a bit high considering there is not service being done by the people working there. Some things that I believe would be good improvements for this business would be to have people bringing the food out to the car for you or to increase the size of the kitchen, staff and the parking lot. A larger kitchen and staff would allow for more people to be preparing the food so that they could supply food for more people faster. We stopped here on the way home from Annapolis Royal for a quick bite to eat and absolutely loved it. We had the Haddie bits, clams, French fries and salad. The batter wasn't too thick, was light with a little crunch and enjoyed by my 3 boys (5, 5 and 2). The portions were generous and the "bits" were just the right size for kids (a large order was enough to feed 3 hungry boys). Had to try heard so much about it not impressed it was on a weekend so had a 45 min. Wait first waiting in the car you look at a shed that needs painting 2 hrs and 2 gal. Paint a piece of lattice fence all broken $ 15.00 the light for there sign hanging by the wire $100.00 and the parking area is full of pot holes so saying all that you wonder about the repair etc. of the kitchen and cleanliness the food had Haddie bits and frys the fish very very fresh tasting but nothing special and there frys I was surprised they were just frozen and not good at all not much effort put into things I doubt I would go back to many other choices
Review titles like "Amazing" are sooo wrong. From the raving about this place, the expectation was that it should be very good fish 'n chips. It is not. The fish is just okay/ordinary, but the fries are terrible. Frozen, cardboard, tasteless **** like the frozen crinkle cut bags from the grocery store. And they're expensive for a roadside takeout 'chippie'. Almost $30 for two orders, no beverages.I guess they don't grow potatoes in the Annapolis Valley? LOL

We stopped off for food going from Annapolis Royal to Wolfville and really enjoyed our lunch. We all had the haddie bites and fries and have nothing at all to complain about (apart from the weather; we really wanted to be sitting out on the picnic tables but it was so wet we had to stay in the car). The staff were very friendly and the food was really tasty. We were glad we stopped off here today.
Been eating here for many years and love most of their menu. My fav is the haddie bits and fries. My husband loves the Clams and fries because the clams are nice and small. If you order a burger, be specific on what you want on it. Portions are large, so bring your appetite. Or do like the rest of us do and take what you can't eat home.
Pearle's is an awesome takeout spot. Always have good size portions, cooked perfectly and timely. Ice Cream treats are amazing with a huge variety of choices. Problem with Pearle's is that it's very well liked, always a line-up so don't wait until you're starving to go there. If you do....it's worth the wait!!!
I've been in to eat a few times, I always have the Haddie Bits....They're great and the price is competitive. Love the ordering and waiting for your number to be announced to get your food. Then getting to sit outside at picnic table...Love it

An awesome place to eat . Or just for a ice cream cone. Friendly staff and very good food. Right out on the main road on your way to Bridgetown
