visited new years eve and booked a table top. the prospects were beautiful, the fireworks exciting and the live music, although a bit loud for the small bar area, was very good. the set menu was excellent. eat well presented and cooked for perfection. the personal, as always they feel welcome. they worked extremely hard all night, were attentive, happy and professional. according to our opinion, they can not owe this place with the cozy open fires, the good food, the interesting weeping and the special ones. jake the manager always has a welcome smile, runs an excellent lively bar/restaurant and along with his well-trained employees are a good advantage for whitstable. I would highly recommend this amazing little pub/restaurant at the sea. do not take my word, try it yourself. they will not be disappointed.

visited on the off-channels for lunch and found the waitress helpful and friendly and booked us immediately. the restaurant in the upper floor has a beautiful view and the tables are fixed that they are not too close to the next table. the menu was varied and would definitely recommend the scallops and white baits for beginners. the smoked haddock kedgeree was amazing. we're coming back.

What a wonderful lunch we had today my two BFF's and I. The Scotch Egg is a triumph. And as for the thrice cooked chips........ Well . Yum yum. Tnankyou very much
