I had one of the worst customer service experiences in my life ever here. I came in the restaurant and was waiting to be seated and with no service after awhile I awkwardly sat myself down. After some time waiting, I said hi to the waitress as she walked by and she looked at me and walked away without a saying a word. Then after a few minutes I walked to the bartender and said, can I see a menu please. The waitress who was standing next to the bartender there yelled at me, we are busy, so sit down or leave. Or just leave ! She was very rude and angry. So I left without saying a word back to such sudden angry hostility. Why yell to a customer to leave when politely asking for a menu? Horrible...
What a gem! After a grueling 50-mile bike ride on the hot, dusty roads leading into Lima, we found ourselves without a place to stay and were resigned to another night of camping. In a last-ditch effort, we called The Peat, and we were thrilled to secure a room. The accommodations were exactly what we needed—clean beds and a spotless shower. The bar and restaurant were outstanding too! Without a doubt, it's the best steak we've ever had. Blaine was an incredibly attentive host and a fantastic cook! The atmosphere was both inviting and energizing. This place will definitely be a top choice if we ever pass through Lima again. Thank you, The Peat!
After cooling down with a refreshing Blue Moon, we ordered a ribeye and an additional plate, which includes a salad, potato, and toast for just $7—a great deal! I had initially planned to just take a few bites of my partner's ribeye, but once I tasted it, I couldn’t help but go back for more! Honestly, it was one of the best quality and most flavorful steaks I’ve had in a long time. The salad dressings are homemade, and I particularly enjoyed the honey mustard. This place is truly worth the trip!
GET THE F OUT OF MY WAY! Shay, the owner, screamed on a busy Saturday night. Embarrassing every patron sitting at the hot bar, next to an inconveniently placed grill in the middle of the floor. She turns to the bartender Trevor, what 's good on tap? He looks at her incredulously and snears, I don 't care what you like and...I 'm not recommending anything.. The End.

We made a stop here during our long road trip, and I'm so glad we did! The service was quick, friendly, and the food was delicious. They offer an excellent option to split a steak at a fantastic price, too. I highly recommend this place to anyone passing through! It was a great pit stop, and I appreciate the amazing steak.
Found this hidden gem while we are waiting to supercharge our car. Ordered a rib eye steak shared by two people. One of the best steak I ever had. It was cooked to perfection. Meat was so fresh and melted in your mouth. Great and friendly service too!
A real Montana bar. Fast, friendly service; excellent steaks and burgers. Good beer selection. Friendly local folks in a western atmosphere. Highly recommend The Peat.
This place is so cute and authentic. They cook your steak on an open grill rt near the bar and it was delicious. Loved the feel of the whole place
