Love coming here to get my caffeine fix. It's not often that I have time to come here to enjoy a nice beverage but today I was in the area and decided I needed an end of the week treat. Since it was kind of warm out I decided to order a cold frappe drink but wasn't sure what was available. The line was going pretty fast so I didn't have time to look at the app. Wish they had the specials on the sign board. Anyways I ended up getting a caramel frappe drink. It was really good and very sweet. I had to mix the drink around with the straw to distribute the sauce and syrup. The drink has a very good coffee flavor unlike Starbucks which just tastes like sweet milk with a bit of caramel flavoring....
Service was non-communicative, indifferent...downright surlyit, in fact. A sign in the case was misplaced, so I was given a different pastry than I thought I was ordering, and my tuxedo iced coffee with oat milk was weak, too sweet, and not worth what I paid for it. I was a *huge* fan of Peet's back in the day, but if this is what it has devolved into, then that opinion may have to change. I won't judge the entire chain on the basis of this one experience, but I also won't be going back to this location. *Huge* disappointment!
This restaurant is a pleasant spot to work or relax for a while. However, there are occasional issues with homeless individuals coming inside, which usually leads to a bit of a mess. While this doesn't happen frequently, I have seen the police intervene and remove them when needed. It’s reassuring to know that action will be taken if necessary, unlike many other places that struggle to address the homeless issue.
This is a very friendly little spot in El Cerrito, and really my only complaint is it can be hard to park in the small lot behind the building, which they can't really do anything about. Peet's coffee is always very good and one of my favorite stops for coffee and treats!

Not sure what happened with the coffee here. Asked for our Cafe au lait and cafe mocha to be replaced as they tasted of nothing. They came back as bad as the first round. Never had bad coffee at Peets this is a first.
The customer service at Peet's is exceptional and the drinks are served promptly. We are big fans of this place. My go-to drink is the cold brew oat latte, without any jelly.
The staff here is very friendly and, and very accommodating. I have a coffee request that is complicated and they are willing to make it with no questions asked .
I visit this place every day. The staff is friendly, and while it can get a bit crowded and busy at times, it has much more space than Solano or Fourth Street.

There is no line when i drop to buy coffee so its fast the store is also.
