I have frequented this restaurant for years. Their food has always been my favorite on the CDF. But over the last 2 years, their prices have completely exploded. Even today I look at their site and the prices have increased again. A dish that cost 13.50 not too long ago now costs 19.50. That’s an increase of almost 50%!!! I am the first to understand the increases in the price of living and these repercussions on the reality of restaurateurs... But no one else on CDF knows how to increase their prices so much. Which is why I went from coming several times a week to now not going at all.
We arrived for a business trip on a Sunday. There are not many places to eat in the town on a Sunday evening. We decided to walk further up than normal and discovered Pekin Express! Brilliant little place. Great menu, friendly staff, the place is spotlessly clean and the food was great. More than fairly priced and all 3 of us had different meals and were more than happy. I would definitely recommend it.
To begin with, I must say that we had to wait a little too long for my liking before being able to take our order. The food menu was overall pleasant to look at and our dishes were tasty. Small negative point, we found a small ball of gelatin in the soup. That didn't stop us from drinking it though. Overall good experience, I recommend to my friends. #Yum
