Michael and I must've been on the same wave length. We were planning on going to Peking for lunch. We hadn't been there for a couple of months. The first thing we noticed when walked in was the new carpeting. We also saw new faces in the front our server Jaylana was great. She gave us the best service we've ever had there. She's only been there a month. She told us the original owners sold the restaurant. The food as always was great. She told us they kept the kitchen staff. Which was the right thing to do. Peking Chinese restaurant has been in the Fort Pierce area for quite some time. Right on the east side of US1. Yes, the place looks dated but the food is good. Everything was brought out in a timely manner and tasted good. As we sat down they served us their chips with a side of sweet sauce. Mmm good!! We ordered egg rolls to start crispy on the outside. And our usual go to when ordering Chinese food: honey chicken and special fried rice The honey chicken was tasty, garlicky and breaded. The special fried rice was really good. Shrimp egg foo young was amazing! The shrimp was not overcooked which is hard to find! I love and always use soy sauce but the vegetable fried rice was flavored so great that I didn’t even use soy!

Good service, friendly and attentive staff. The black tea is the bomb. Great eggrollls and soups. The portions are really big. Ordered the General Tso's chicken but it was not spicy at all.

Great place if you're in the mood for Chinese food! The honey garlic chicken is da bomb! Yummy egg rolls and delicious wonton soup! Just don't become addicted it's too easy!
