Been living in the area for over half a decade now and this is only the 2nd time I 've been here. Sadly, it 'll be the last. The first time I went in 2019, it was the same sort of experience. I came in and was dressed in business casual for work, wasn 't asked if I was going to dine in, was given a lot of scowls and odd looks, and was quickly scooted out the door. The breakfast I got back then was ample and fairly flavorful.Today, I came in for lunch after taking the 2nd half of the day off. Once again, no one asked if I was dining in. Although I was standing and waiting to be seated per the sign up front, I was told to go on ahead and order at the counter. Little did I know they were trying...

Really wanted to try breakfast but didn't get there in time. Got two lunch plates to take home so I could try a variety.Service was super friendly and helpful. The internet was down so it was cash only that day. Prices are very reasonable and in line with other meat and threes.Vegetables were served in large portions and well seasoned. Fried chicken was good but had been holding a little long. Chicken and dumplings were as good as any I've had.I'll be back again. Hopefully I can make it for breakfast one day soon.

This is a very traditional meat-and-three like you were once able to find in almost every town in the South. While the atmosphere is basic, it is exactly what one expects. We had a fine lunch and both commented on how we could have been in any number of small towns where we have had a similar meals in the last fifty years.A slice of real America where the diners are locals, tradesmen or lucky travelers.

This is a simple, cafeteria-style diner. The food was enjoyable. I just wished my portion of grilled fish had been a bit larger, but it was well-cooked and delicious. The butter beans were worth the visit, and the cornbread was fresh and tender. The turnip greens were a tad salty, but we will definitely return. Réservez une table maintenant

We went by here one morning and were told they do not do breakfast by one of the waitresses. So, beware, even though they advertise breakfast and it says breakfast on the signs outside- they apparently do not serve breakfast.I can rate the food. Just updating.

Server was absolutely amazing as was the food. Cinnamon rolls are the best I have ever had. I had the pioneer breakfast which included one HUGE pancake, eggs, hash browns, and bacon. Coffee was also excellent. Definitely a must for breakfast!

Love this place. Good local breakfast spot. The Oxmoor Breakfast has it all. Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, hash browns with biscuits and gravy. All quality foods and reasonable prices.

Fried pork chop very dry. Needs a brine to help tenderness and moisture. Love the staff but the food needs to improve. At $12.95 for meat and 2, make it delicious please. Réservez une table maintenant
