The new owners are incredibly welcoming, and the food is outstanding. It really feels like home here. I come nearly every day to try different items on the menu and haven’t found anything I didn't enjoy. Let's support our local mom-and-pop businesses! I highly recommend this restaurant. Where else can you enjoy a delicious meal at a great price while overlooking Clear Lake? Forget the chains—this place has true character and charm.

We discovered this charming little restaurant about a month ago, and I convinced my friend to give it a try. We both instantly fell in love with it! The food is consistently fantastic, especially the breakfast. Honestly, everything we've tried has been so good that we can't help but keep returning. Now, we're regulars and look forward to our visits every time!

I firmly believe that the Pelican serves the best Chicken Fried Steak on planet Earth. Owners Jeeb Tu and chef Mike consistently deliver a superb hand battered, nicely crunchy, thick, tender steak with awesome cream gravy each and every time. Love this place! Been going here for about a year and can't go wrong! Everything we order is amazing. I especially love the bacon avocado eggs Benedict and my boyfriend loves the Ruben breakfast sandwich! Zach the owner is very friendly and it is a family owned business!!! My go to place! Great coffee, great breakfast spot. Easy to see why they have a lot of regulars. I'm now one of them. Food is made to perfection. Very tasty, fresh, with unique items too. The service is on the spot. Perfect portions for very affordable prices!

My husband and I always like to try new places, and we recently moved to this area. We loved breakfast, order was quickly and efficiently filled and it tastes delicious. Usually I'm not a hashbrowns girl, but I ended the whole plate.
