Pelican's Nest by the Bay

don't be fooled by the proximity to the seaside indicating good fresh fish. Our family picnic opposite on the foreshore, with 3 grandchildren, Son & two daughters plus 3 granparents was ruined by inedible fish, it was like rubber the plastic cutlery we were given could not cut the fish, the chips were passable. The young girl taking our order was very nice & helpful, but that could not make up for fish that must have been frozen some time before it was subsequently ordered & cooked, we will never go back

9 big screen tvs displaying a great selection of cafe and restaurant favourites. Only stopped for coffee and cookies and ended up having breakfast too. Easy cafe style, lots of outdoor seating and right in front of the park with the sea in the background.

An ideal location with close proximity to kid's play ground and wading pool. Updated seating area if you want to 'dine in'. A typical representation of Aussie fish and chip's with additional choices.

Breakfast was lovely, plenty to eat, good value for money and a lovely seaside view. we were able to relax and take our time.

atmo l was ok right across from wading poo got hassled by pigeons calamari was perfect but chips were cold
