I ordered fish and chips and the fish was excellent.i couldn't fault it at all.nice crispy batter and flakey fish and it was a good size but the chips were a massive letdown.plenty of them and they looked good but they must have been the greaseist chips I've ever had.honestly I had to bin them and I don't like throwing away foid.for me inedible..shame as the fish was so good and the price was ok.well it was untill I tasted the chips.doubt I'd return here
This place was amazing we entered the cafe to be greeted with a friendly smile from a lady who was so warming and helpful. I have a very sore back so I walk very slow and she was very understanding and patient which made me relax. Then I ordered the ham cheese omelette with chips salad and my wife ordered an English breakfast bun and 2 coffees the food was really well priced and tasted amazing. I generally rate this place 5* all the way.
Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was not great. I was taken aback by the sarcastic response I received when asking about the size of the fish. The server was rude and seemed bothered by our presence. We paid nearly £30 for two portions of fish and chips (one regular and one small) and were disappointed by the bland and boring taste. I expected more for the price. I would recommend avoiding this place.
The food we got was OK but we were missing items. Pie, peas, chips and gravy was missing the peas and gravy. I asked for three portions of chips and got one. I should have checked it before we walked out but that would have involved emptying the bag and opening every box. Réservez une table maintenant
Just spent a week in Richmond and came here twice. One of the children didn't like fish but staff were happy to change it for the meal offer. Young girl at lunchtime was very helpful and friendly as was the older lady. Food is amazing and price is affordable.
We 've had fish and chips from here for years. Unfortunately, in recent times the quality has sadly slipped from being 'excellent top draw ' to 'average nothing special '. Last lot we bought were only just warm and very greasy. Time to try somewhere else.
No acknowledgment when entered and standing at counter. Just ignored. Should have taken the hint and gone elsewhere as the haddock and chips was awful, greasy and soggy both chips and fish. Won’t make the same mistake again.

Had excellent fish and Mushy peas. Both tasted really good and was delicious, and a very good price, was expecting it to be more expensive
