Pennyroyal Station

Extremely loud and crammed. It was a rainy evening, so the garden was not open and everyone was stuck inside. They did accommodate us with an inside table as we had a reservation (for the outside). Extremely friendly and helpful staff, but the food did not live up to my expectations. I had the rabbit jambalaya and my party had the burger. In the end my head was buzzing with all the noise. People were loud and the background music did not help either. The ceiling is high and

Delicious comfort food in a beautiful setting! I enjoyed a solo brunch at the bar on a beautiful Sunday complemented by a relaxed, warm interior with lots of light and a great playlist. I enjoyed my shrimp and grits though the sauce initially seemed 'greasy ' to me. I didn 't like the texture of it but the flavors were on point. Can 't wait to try other items on the menu!

This is one of my new favorite southern style restaurant in the DC area. The best part of this station is its setting a plenty of outdoor space and very colorful drawings on its building. My favorite dish was their chicken wings they were simple but they can be treated as meals instead of bar snacks.

I stopped by Pennyroyal for brunch with my friend Nate and we both got their pancakes. It came with maple syrup which was good but we asked for more. The jam it came with was awesome as well. Highly recommend.

Quaint new spot in Mt. Rainier, MD right at the DC line. Beautiful mid-century vibe. Good food and drink options. However, quite pricey. We'll go back for happy hour and apps for sure.
