we ate in the garden of the restaurant.. .a waitress welcomes us with coldness .We order to drink and to eat and wait a lot. The bread, which normally takes you to the beginning, I have to go get it in the kitchen because for the long wait we are starving. I find that waitress never laughs, because she has to do everything. that's why we wait so much...it must take the order, fix, shoot, sell products to tourists passing, make the buffet of drinks.... finally arrive the dishes. I have to say, that luckily the dishes are good and prepared with fresh products. high prices for a country as you feel.
as present in the map the kitchen of the albier pension is simple but generous. the specialties of the grayons have the beautiful part in the map. in the carpaccio entrance of beet with fresh cheese from the corner, a delicious risotto with salziset dessert a very good pies of the grayons with in walnut ... pistachio and apricot dry. deserves his bip greedy michelin.
we had a little lunch after a long hike. very fine mixed salad in a sympathetic garden. the kitchen was already closed. the service could be more friendly. was a little brittle and unmotivated. the kitchen worker who brought the salat himself on the other side was very nice. the house has a small museum with works by alberto giacometti.
after the friendly welcome you enter the bright gastronomy. the summer lunch card contained exactly what we were looking for and so we stayed on this summer Saturday for lunch. the wine selection is very good and also the selection of grappe to the coffee leaves no wish open. We always like to return here.
