I don't know why but there's so many Italian restaurants now being taken over by non-italians so sometimes they just don't know what they're doing making Italian dishes. I got an eggplant parm sandwich that was not very good, the eggplant was oily and not breaded, which is strange because it's supposed to be. I took a chance because I haven't gotten a good eggplant dish in a very long time and now I know why. I think the lasagna is pretty good and it's a generous portion. Just when I thought the service was up to par, I faced a frustrating issue today. I inquired about the soup of the day, and the server mentioned lentil, minestrone, and chicken soup. When I asked about escarole soup, he confirmed they had it, even though it wasn't on the menu. Each soup is listed as $4.50 for a cup and $7.00 for a bowl. However, when the bill arrived, I was shocked to see they charged $12.95 for the escarole soup, which wasn't even listed. When I questioned the price, the server insisted it was correct. This is my favorite Italian dining experience! The food is fantastic, and the atmosphere is very laid-back. They serve the best chicken Parmesan around, and their pizza is great as well, particularly the Margherita pizza. I've never had to wait for a table, except on Friday and Saturday evenings. I highly recommend it!
Pepe's was our favorite restaurant for the past 6 years. However, since new owners took over about 6 months ago, it has lost its charming atmosphere. The waitress lacks personality and is not very efficient. Unfortunately, we have stopped going after trying it about 5-6 times.

This restaurant offers the best food in the area, it is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend it. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional, and the restaurant is exceptionally clean.
Bread was warm, that’s about it……..Meatball came out of the freezer….Sauce came out of the can…..Service, couldn’t find the waiters….Came to wrong place for Italian food…
