I'm a regular. I've been told the place is now being moved to new management, and in transition of training new employees, they are really improving their service. Prior management had caused a high turnover and difficulty in consistency, but time is showing a lot of progress. The food is great when done properly and the service can be EXCELLENT at times. When there's an issue, the policy is to make the customer satisfied so unless you ate your whole meal and are just trying to scam getting something for nothing, your experience should be just fine. I want my food cooked, not microwaved, so it takes more than 10 minutes for dinner and that is something that makes me happy not irritated. Especially if I want my steak/burger cooked properly. I come here so often I've seen the kind of people that complain here I wouldn't say they're valid most of the time, just scam artists and rude boomers. Plus, they often ask customers to do surveys to improve themselves cuz they actually want to improve. I've had the best and worst experiences at every restaurant including here, depending on the server or one particular cook alone and it really isn't fair to judge an entire restaurant on one bad waitress or cook when the rest of the staff is eager to fix any problem and get you to come back. Overall, considering it's a Perkins and not some over priced ritsy joint, it's a great value for a home town feel comfortable place to have some great waffles or dessert. Come for the specialties, like breakfast or dessert. THAT'S where you get the good stuff.
