Finally had a chance to go to Perry's in DC and experience their rooftop restaurant. I went this past Sunday night as outdoor is now open in DC during Phase There were maybe only about tables with social distancing in place which was great to see. The food was amazing. We had a platter of sushi, sashimi and sushi rolls (california roll and spicy tuna roll) to share which was enough for people. The ambiance was superb and the staff was great. Was truly impressed how they kept cleanliness, social distancing and no-covid worries Can't wait to go back again to enjoy a different dish. I normally do take-out there but eating inside is truly amazing. To experience it you have to make a reservation...
My fiancé and I LOVE Perry’s. It is our go to spot. The service is excellent if you like sitting at the bar, as we do. The sushi is good, though certainly not the best in the city, but if you’re not looking to drop a huge amount for a top end dinner, it’s probably the best in the city. Sitting at the roof bar (or roof seating area) is definitely the way to go. The inside is rather dark, while the roof is amazing: pleasantly decorated with great views
It was a bit awkward getting into the restaurant no one greeted us when we walked inside and we had no idea where to go. The sushi chef pointed us into the right direction. There are very steep stairs to climb to get to the roof. We had the sushi for it was a big portion all was very tasty! Amazing value for what you get. Overall it was a great experience and we will definitely be back
We made reservations for the rooftop, but there was a huge storm that rolled through. So they seated us inside until the storm passed, then they were able to move us upstairs. It is such a nice spot! Delicious sushi and great service

Perry's roof is perfectly spaced for your social distance hang. Drinks and food come out in a timely manner so you're able to enjoy your conversation with your friends without feeling like you're being rushed out for the next seating
We absolutely LOVE Perry's. My dad used to be a regular customer in the late Now, I am his age and I brought him back years later, with my mother. We love the food and quality, and atmosphere, always. It cannot be beat THANK YOU
Always an outstanding experience from A to Z. Warm service, lovely ambiance on the roof, and most importantly, excellent Japanese food. Sashimi was spectacular. And the menu is full of innovative items. Highly recommend
Love Perry's! First time on their rooftop and even though it rained, they were able to cover the area. Staff was friendly as always and food was great
