Pete Elda's Carmen's Pizzeria

My husband and I visited this restaurant for the first time. We had heard great things about it and they were right! We arrived around 4:45 and were seated promptly. Our server, Marcus, was excellent. He recommended that we order an extra large pizza for just $1 more, thinking we could take home leftovers. However, the pizza was so delicious that there were none left. We also enjoyed a tasty thin crust pizza and a Caesar salad to start. Next time, we would like to try a dinner entree. Make sure to arrive early as it can get busy! Overall, we rated the service and food a 5 out of 5, and the atmosphere a 4 out of 5.

This restaurant is a local favorite. Although I enjoy their pizza, I rarely order it. Instead, my wife and I usually opt for the calamari (pronounced Gala Mod) and the strip steak sandwich, both of which are delicious. Parking can be a bit challenging during peak summer months when it's crowded, but there is a large free parking lot available. If needed, you may have to drive around a bit to find a spot. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is inviting. Overall, I highly recommend trying the fried calamari and steak. Prices range from $20 to $30 per person for dinner.

Furthermore, we were seated in a cramped area outside the kitchen, with tables placed closely together. The rules for ordering pizza were also convoluted, causing some confusion. The only saving grace of the night was the excellent service provided by our waiter. Overall, the dining experience was subpar. The service was good, but the atmosphere was lacking. The price per person was between $20-30, and the food was rated a 3 out of 5, service a 5 out of 5, and atmosphere a 1 out of 5.

This place is really nice to eat. We had a party of 10 and we’re told to wait longer. Loyal customers were thrown to the side, all because the owner made a reservation for 15. Reservations are not accepted at all. This was selfish on his part due to him and his family reserving a big spot. Will not be coming again. This was discrimination and favoritism. Think there was more to it than that. All i know is no matter what this place never takes reservations but they did this time. Réservez une table maintenant

This restaurant is our favorite choice when we are at the Shore. Their pizza is fantastic and the portions are generous. The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. I would give it a 20 out of 10 rating.

The thin crust pizza was very good. We had a half pepperoni, half sausage pizza and it was very tasty. While it may not be the best pizza I've ever had, it was still very enjoyable.

This restaurant has really declined in quality. The consistency is lacking and I prefer Vics, which is nearby and much superior. Réservez une table maintenant

I sat at a table for hours easily. I thought the bar-style pizza crust was good. But the big cake wasn't very good.
