Prices are somewhat high, though that may reflect current trends. The location has plenty of parking and is easily accessible from the Long Island Expressway, whether you’re heading east or west.
This is undoubtedly the best gyro in Hauppauge! The management is exceptional, and the service is quick. I ordered takeout for lunch, and the price per person was between $10 and $20. The food, service, and atmosphere all received a perfect score of 5. I highly recommend the Beef Lamb Gyro Platter. Plus, there’s convenient free parking available!
I placed a catering order today from Pete The Greek Hauppauge for my office, and everyone absolutely loved it! The food was incredible and beautifully presented. The chicken souvlaki was cooked to perfection, the pita was warm and delicious, and everything was fantastic. This is the best Greek food I’ve ever had, and their menu is outstanding!

This restaurant offers delicious food, but I was let down when I ordered a gyro and only received a tray of gyro meat along with a pita, without any tomatoes or onions. I had to assemble my own gyro using just the tzatziki and the meat. Overall, it was quite disappointing.
We were very satisfied with almost everything because the food was definitely worth every penny. The tables and seating were not very comfortable, but the taste and prices were the most important. Thank you, Pete The Greek!
