What a fantastic pub in the Georgian Area of Liverpool. The pub is immaculate and steeped in history. Staff are proud to work there and demonstrated this by knowing the history of the pub and the artifacts within. The bar is well stocked with a choice of real ales as you would expect from a cask marque pub. This is one of the nicest, friendliest pubs I've come across for some time. Well and truly worth a visit, you'll be pleasantly surprised. Oh and the prices aren't expensive either.

A lovely old style, slightly eccentric pub. It has whatever you want, quiet times and times when it is rammed, normally when there is a singer on. Lovely community pub, with dark rooms so you can huddle up plus space at the bar if your waiting for a friend. Outside seating area too. If you are looking for somewhere more community oriented than the hedonistic affray that are town centre pubs...then head here.

Stumbled across this place by chance and we're really glad we did! Friendly barman, chatty and welcoming customers sitting outside, real ale, and a fascinating interior. Full of character and interest, lovely atmosphere, we will definitely be back on our next visit to Liverpool.

Came here after liverpool pumped Bournemouth 9-0. Expecting to find an old man boozer I was pleasantly surprised to find a quirky little pub with incredible live music and people of all ages and walks of life. Would visit again. I'f only i could go into details.... Réservez une table maintenant
