Heard burgers were good, so I gave it a try. Ordered their 1/2lb cheeseburger combo, which came out to about $15. It came with a double patty cheeseburger, fries and a fountain drink. Burger was topped with shredded lettuce, tomato, sauce and was good, but not great pretty standard stuff. Fries are thivker cut, perhaps a bit overcooked, but salted properly and not greasy. For a small place, they did have a variety of self service fountain drinks including coke zero and orange bang. The ambiance is very burger joint with free parking in back. i want to come back for their breakfast sometime, but better burgers are out there.
Oh Pete's, I will always cherish you! You are truly one of the gems of Eagle Rock. Even though I’ve moved far away, I will always return to Pete's—not just for nostalgic reasons, but because the quality of your food and service has remained consistently excellent over the years! The burritos are generous and packed with meat! They never skimp on portions. And then there are the zucchini fries—the love of my life! They are so fresh that you can see them being cut daily in the back, unlike those freezer-burned ones you get elsewhere. I love you, Pete's, and your wonderful family!
Used to come here a LOT back in the late 90's early 2Ks. Moved away for a while and just happened to visit town again and went to Pete's. Some great things never change and I'm glad they haven't! Just authentic down to earth simple (but very large) menu! Hands down my favorite thing though is the pickled carrots! I don't know if I got older or what, but feels like they are more spicy than I remember...but still the best around! Felt very nostalgic when I got a chance to visit this time. I'll definitely make it a stop again next time I'm in town.

I can call in my order and it is ready in 15-20 minutes, which is about the time it takes me to get there from Highland Park (Fig and Ave 55). Friendly employees and great food. What more can you ask for?!?

I can call in my order and it is ready in 15-20 minutes, which is about the time it takes me to get there from Highland Park (Fig and Ave 55). Friendly employees and great food. A family favorite for years! They serve amazing burgers, and I absolutely love the seasoned fries. Just be sure to double-check their hours before you go. As for parking, there are a few spots available on-site, as well as ample street parking nearby.
This place is a dirty mess. The people behind the counter act like your bothering them bad attitudes rolling eyes. Ordered but threw it in the trash. Never will I eat their again. Sad because I grew up in the area and used to go there alot.
Employees are nice. They bring the food to your table. Self serve drink fountain. Wheel chair accessible. Drive thru. Not too many parking spots, but its worth it.

The food and service are great. The service is actually superb. It's just a little pricey, in my opinion.
The lady’s in the front are great. Amazing staff and friendly. Food is amazing.
