My favorite type of restaurant…A hole in the wall with great food and excellent service! I had my usual ground beef taco and cheese enchilada with red sauce combo, served with rice and refried beans. The cheese enchilada was exceptionally yummy and the beef taco was good. I think I expected the meat to taste like Ortega taco mix that you get in the grocery store, so I don't know if a girl from Florida should be judging true Mexican tacos. I'm just used to the grocery store and Taco Bell. But the taco was very good! Nothing was spicy at all, thank goodness! I ordered the Supreme Burrito, which was impressively large and covered in a delightful sauce. The mix of rice, beans, lettuce, and my selected protein created a burst of flavors. Additionally, they provided a generous portion of large tortilla chips that were ideal for dipping. The prices were very reasonable, offering great value for the quality and amount of food we received. The friendly service truly enhanced our dining experience. I’m eagerly looking forward to coming back for another meal by the beach!
I had the super deluxe burrito. Excellent, with lots of chicken. I had to take some home. My wife had a tostada, which was also excellent, and we took a lot of that home too. The big guy behind the counter was very friendly and efficient. I appreciated the pictures of Pancho Villa and Pope John Paul II. We sat outside and watched the Tesla's and BMW's go by. I will eat here again, if I ever go back to California.
