our host in the guesthouse wahnenmuehle suggested this restaurant for our first dinner at the arrival in erkrath. When you drive to the door, you will be taken back from the appearance, not really understand what you take yourself. when you enter the door and try to communicate with the piano player just to find out that he is a stupid, you start to get a little about what you have in the load! less I ruin some of the surprises, let me just say that we enjoyed our time so much that we have made plans to celebrate some nights later my sweet birthday. Chef cook ralf is a very nice and entertaining owner and made us very welcome. we have eaten, the atmosphere and above all the interaction with chef cook ralf and the rest of the staff very enjoyed. if you are in the area of erkrath, we recommend you to enjoy an evening in the pancake room. many thanks to again cook ralf, that they make my favorite birthday party so special in Germany!

Cette entreprise familiale est l'un des plus beaux endroits que nous ayons trouvés en NRW. Le restaurant à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur est comme un petit musée. Un après-midi ne suffirait probablement pas pour voir tous les détails de la décoration. La nourriture est si savoureuse que nous reviendrons ... à coup sûr. La viande tendre et juteuse, les crêpes moelleuses et délicieuses. La sangria est un must à essayer! Les deux propriétaires sont tous les deux très gentils et vous font vous sentir les bienvenus. Grande recommandation

this family business is one of the most beautiful places we found in nrw. the restaurant inside and outside is like a small museum. probably a afternoon would not be enough to see all the decoration details. that eating is so tasty that we're safe to come back. the meat delicate and juicy, the pancakes soft and tasty. the sangria is a must to try! the two owners are both so nice and make them welcome. great recommendation
