Phalika's Thai Food

I usually stop in for the Thai food. Always good. Today I went in for the Fish and Chips. I got there 10 minutes before they were to open (1100 am) I was on chat with another company, so I didn 't mind waiting a bit. However, after 11 am came and went, I phoned the restaurant to check if they were opening. No reply, but I did leave a message that I was outside of their restaurant and have been so for half an hour. The restaurant finally opened 1 hour 15 minutes later than their posted hours. My family treated me to a birthday dinner that was so delicious! What an absolute treat. Our family’s usual Thai restaurant closed during covid and we struggled to find a new favourite spot. This is now THE SPOT. So handy since my son and daughter in law live just outside Devon. The ice cream for dessert is a neat touch and will be really nice in the summer months. Our server was delightfully friendly.

Are here a ton when I worked in Devon. Now I only go back occasionally just to eat here. The owner is the kindest sweetest lady and always remembers me even though my visits have become infrequent. Best food and worth the drive. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
