Frequented this restaurant when working in that area and was always impressed. I arranged a retirement dinner for one of our clients. Everyone who joined was very impressed. The service was exceptional and the variety of our appetizers and dinner selections would appeal to everyone's taste buds. Upon opening the menu it was a first for all of us. The menu lights up and eliminates the need for phone flashlight that sometimes we have to use at other eateries. A gem of a place.
The place was okay but I wouldn't recommend it. I had to seafood dish there was more broth then seafood or pasta and someone else had the steak ordered medium-rare came out well well cooked. It took a long time to be served drinks and food but the check came before we even finish the desert
I absolutely LOVE this restaurant for it's amazing food and fantastic drinks. On certain nights they have entertainment or Wine dinners and those make your experience even better. This is a long time establishment that has both indoor, outdoor and bar seating.
great service from the reserved seating, ordering drinks, and timely manner of food served. quiet environment for couples or groups. ample parking off the street. nice outdoor sitting area also. definitely a great room for live music. Réservez une table maintenant
i've been coming to phil tran's for several years and this was the very worst experience i've ever had--it's aa good thing i brought famiy members who have been there before so they were shocked but we' ll be back. pat beckerman
The food was reminiscent of old school diner food. Not at all fine dining. Clam chowder soup was watery and filled with potatoes and celery. There was plenty of food but just not the quality expected for the price paid.
We go to Phil Trani's mostly for the veal parmigiana which is very good. We like the atmosphere but have had problems with slow service. Also, though we had reservations we has to wait for 10 minutes to be seated.
We always enjoy going to Phil Tranis restaurant. The food is good and the service is very good. We were celebrating 3 birthdays and they brought out several dessert items, complimentary. Réservez une table maintenant
Still one of the best kept secrets in Long Beach. Step back a bit in time and relax with just great food with great service. Live music on the weekends.
